We are looking for an assistant manager to join our team, working closely with our general manager.
The role of assistant manager is responsible for the support of the general manager and the location team and carries responsibility for a variety of tasks.  The role demands strong operational focus with the ability  to support/play an active role in the achievement of our sales and commercial objectives.  
Deputising in the absence of your manager and covering colleagues in their absence, our assistant managers have the skill set to manage all aspects of our buildings.

Key responsibilities: 
Trading & Business Performance 

  • Support the achievement of the locations occupancy and average desk rate targets through pipeline management and sales activities.
  • Issue licenses within the framework
  • Provide, as defined by reporting schedules accurate weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting to company team colleagues. 
  • Work in collaboration with the account receivable team to deliver accurate billing and debtor management process. 
  • Manage and report on rate relief in line with company standards. 
  • Deliver finance tasks in line with tasks assigned to the role.  

People, Community & Culture 

  • Take part in regular routine of contact with your members. Capture all feedback shared using the established channels including the duty management log.  
  • Provide (to your general manager) constructive, candid feedback on colleagues, areas successes and  challenge to support your general managers development of the location team. 
  • Support your general manager in the supervision  of the team in line with the Clockwise staff handbook and associated policies. 
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding and ongoing training of your team and wider company team members. 

Safety, Compliance & Operations 

  • Capture, report and escalate where appropriate all member issues
  • Support action planning following member survey feedback/member
  • Ensure brand standards are adhered to across the location, conduct walk rounds and audits
  • Manage relationships with building suppliers/third parties
  • Work with your general manager and on-site colleagues to ensure health and safety compliance  
  • Act in compliance with our virtual office (VO) licence agreement checks and process.  
  • Manage the process of purchasing in compliance with our PO system and purchasing policy.

Key skills and experience

You will ideally have a management background in hospitality, flex-space or real estate with a love for people and numbers!

Working pattern

Monday to Friday (office hours) with some evening work required for events
