For the next FinTech Belfast meetup we have some excellent speakers lined up for a total of 3 x sessions
We are also kindly being hosted in the newly refurbished River House event space: in the Cathedral Quarter, just beside the National.
(Even though the location is new – you can still expect the usual Beer, Soft Drinks n’ Pizza!)
18:00 – Arrive at Riverhouse
18:30 – Gary McDonald – Director, Limitless Insight
Gary will be speaking on “Connecting Physical to Digital retail” –
This will give FinTech companies an insight into how they can commercialise personalised / anonymous data in the right way.
Gary will show how the functionality in the Limitless Platform allows them to build a single view of the customer through Location Analytics.
He will then show Basket Analysis and building of recommendation engine to provide personal relevant offers and finish by demonstrating how this could leverage open banking data or card data particularly within the shopping centre or Airport space.
19:00 – Gary Robinson – Founder & CEO, Uleska
Gary’s talk will be on “Application Security Automation and Orchestration”.
This session will discuss the challenges and solutions to effective security automation in today’s fast paced software and IT industry.
Traditional security testing runs too slowly with a lack of clarity in security coverage. A shortage of cyber security personnel leads to understaffed security teams. Organisations developing or running software have to be conscious of cyber security risks and regulatory compliance.
All of these problems call for automated solutions, wrapped into DevOps, or DevSecOps, environments.
19:30 – Graeme Stuart – VP Product & Michael McFall – Principal Data Engineer, Deep Labs
Graeme and Michael’s talk will be on “”Persona-Based Intelligence to provide trust in today’s digital world”
The team at Deep Labs believe that that trust is now the fundamental currency for all digital interactions. Traditional identity verification methods are no longer effective on their own due to well publicized data breaches and ID spoofing technologies. They believe that their Persona-Based Intelligence now provides true context-aware Artificial Intelligence capability to solve these problems.
Graeme & Michael will talk about why this is such an essential problem to solve and also how the team have approached the challenge. In particular, they will share some of the realities of building a true platform and implementing an ambitious data strategy.
Please remember to think of some tough questions and your A game!
